De koning en koningin zagen te midden van duizenden Brabanders een muziekspektakel zich voltrekken onder leiding van Strijbos & Van Rijswijk. In Cross Avenue the sound created by the strings will be saved, explored, re-worked and re-introduced in such a way that the original sound source and its new variant combine to form a new sound entity. The strings and the electronics become a seamless extension of each other. Further, Strijbos & Van Rijswijk employ spatialisation (sound divided over the space), an important audible element which propels the composition in further developing its expression.

In the short solo performance of ELETTRA choreographer Jelena Kostic zooms in on every man’s small secrets. The slightest jerk of a finger, a breath of air, everything that holds emotion. Hardly visible but mesmerizingly present in dance phrases and motion.

The focus is fixed at a person during the daily train trip from the hometown towards a working town, including the moment the character is engrassed in daily routine at the working space. The ballad is a modest ode to everybody who’s only destiny is hard labour in order to follow the path of life.

An older, successful writer and his wife have relocated there, so that he can work undisturbed on his new novel. It is a novel about the desire to be young, vital, sexual, unrestrained. He invents a second chance: the purchase of a 'Newbody'. Co-production with Strijbos & Van Rijswijk.

Dance-act by choreographer Pia Meuthen. Mikie and his older brother Kevin live isolated from the outside world. Mikie knows all the prime numbers up to 9091 by heart and loves Johnny Cash, but he has difficulty with the intricate rules of social interaction. Kevin is a man of few words and much suppressed rage. The duet odd focuses on different facets of their relationship.
