Magical wandering opera in evening twilight along the meandering river the Rotte. A production in collaboration with Operadagen Rotterdam and ‘750 Dam in de Rotte’

Signal at the Rotte is a landscape opera that takes you to the banks of the Rotte in the Prinsemolenpark: a green oasis on the outskirts of Rotterdam. As you walk along the river in the evening twilight, you hear voices and music all around you. Live sopranos meander through land and water of the Rotte. Everyone in the audience experiences their own story, based on their personal experiences, and it’s their story that gets a stage.
